Tiffany
M. Card has been an advocate, activist, educator and feminist for as
long as she can remember.
As the Manager and Advocate for reproductive health through Planned Parenthood's
Real
Life. Real Talk. pilot initiative she not only managed the
program in Rockland County, but hosted "Real
Life. Real Talk. with Tiffany" (an Internet radio show for parents)
as well. She researched and produced the broadcast, and hosted such nationally
recognized guests as Sarah
Brown, Dominic
Cappello, Diane
Levin, Jackson
Katz, and Dr.
Pablo Rodriguez.
Along with the radio show, she conducted Sex Ed For Parents programs
and trainings as part of RLRT.
As an Educator and Trainer, she has spoken professionally as an invited
presenter to numerous organizations, including:
- National Sexual Assault Conference
- National Conference on Domestic Violence
- Planned Parenthood Federation of America
- NY State Youth Bureau Conference
- Westchester Loves Not Supposed To Hurt Conference
- Rockland Community College
- Dominican College
- St. Thomas Aquinas College

- Good Samaritan Hospital

- and the AAUW
These presentations, workshops and trainings examine Domestic Violence
and intimate partner abuse through a historical and anti-oppression lens,
including how these issues may play out in the LBGTQ communities.
As a Senior Trainer for the New
York Model Batterer Programs she conducts classes for men mandated
by the courts to attend the Domestic Violence Program. These classes cover
the history of Domestic Violence, sexism
and look at dismantling these and other oppressions.
